Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

When can I expect to receive my fabric?

In-Stock fabric will be packed and shipped within 5 days.

For all other orders, there is a manufacturing lead time of approximately 5-7 weeks while we will print your chosen design on your chosen base. We commence production runs on the 1st and 16th of each month. Orders placed on the 15th or the last day of the month will have the shortest lead time.

What fabric base would you recommend for…?

Each fabric has its unique uses. Please check out our Fabric Info page for some more information on common uses for each fabric base. Otherwise, join our VIP Group on Facebook for sewing inspiration.

Is the fabric cut in a continuous length?

Yes, each pre-order of a print placed in the same order will be cut in a continuous length. All retail fabric is precut into the specified length, continuous lengths are not available.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes, we are more than happy to offer local pickup for the North Lakes QLD area. Please select ‘local pick up’ before checking out. Contact us for a pickup address.

What payment methods do you offer?

We currently accept payment via VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, PayPal and AfterPay.

How is shipping calculated?

All orders will be shipped with Australia Post (tracked parcel post). Our shipping and packaging rates are calculated by volume. For more information please see our Shipping Policy.

Combining Orders?

If you wish to combine individual orders into one shipment, please select ‘combine with previous order’ when checking out each additional time after your first order. Please be aware that if you are combining orders across various preorders all fabric will be held until the most current order has been completed. If your shipment moves into a higher weight bracket, there will be additional shipping fees.

How do I wash my fabrics?

We recommend reading our Fabric Info page for washing information for each specific base.

I think my fabric has a flaw, what do I do?

Your fabric may have a flaw, however, if it is considered a minor flaw, and you would like to return for a refund or exchange, only a partial refund will be granted. If you feel that your fabric has a major flaw please contact us with photos within 14 days of receiving your parcel. For more information, please see our Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Where do your prints come from?

Our prints are a collection of works created by local artists, and also created in-house with commercially licenced artwork.

Where is your fabric printed?

Our fabric is printed internationally and shipped directly to us. We have built a secure and long standing relationship with our printer and have agreements in place to prevent the sharing or reuse of any file we use for printing.

Can I order fabric with my own artwork?

Yes! We offer custom printing, so please feel free to send us an email so we can talk about the tile, bases, and minimum order quantities. If you are ready to place an order with your tiled artwork, you can upload your files and order here.

I'm interested in joining the Artist Marketplace, do you have more information on this?

Yes we do! Follow this link HERE and have a read over the information provided. Don't forget to send us an email if you have any questions or want to get the process started

Can I order fabric with fan art inspired by licensed characters?

Licensed characters are a tricky subject. While it’s not illegal to create fan art, selling fan art for a profit can be against what is considered fair use. The owner of the copyright could take legal action against each party that has been involved in the transaction, including the artist, the art purchaser, and any other party that has also made some profit along the way (ie. Us for printing the art onto fabric). There’s a long article about the intricacies of licensed characters and selling the fan art here: https://wastedtalentinc.com/are-fan-art-commissions-of-copyright-characters-even-legal/

Is your PUL food safe?

We haven’t gone through the process of certifying our PUL to be food safe. As far as we know, this is a very expensive and laborious process that needs to be completed regularly. However, we have had some positive reports from some of our customers who have created bowl covers using our PUL, they have lined their bowl covers with plain colour dyed PUL, or plain white PUL. Then used our printed PUL on the outside (non-food side). This means that the food-facing side that is plain dyed will not have the potential for the ink to be in contact with the food.

My parcel hasn’t arrived?

Once your order has been packed you will receive a shipping confirmation via email with all of the relevant tracking information. Check the status of your parcel tracking with Australia Post first, and if necessary, lodge an enquiry to claim.
