Fabric Info
All fabric is known for colour fade and shrinkage with wash and wear. We recommend using a colour catcher to avoid extreme colour fade. Common shrinkage may be up to 10% of the overall cut length. This is not a fault of the fabric. It is recommended to prewash all fabrics, and to wash them with the same routine you intend/expect the final garment to be washed with. If you receive fabric that measures less than the amount ordered, please contact us before washing, once washed we are unable to provide a full refund.
Please allow for up to 5cm difference over or under in any ordered length of fabric with a stretch. This can occur during measuring and cutting.
Custom Prints We offer to print your custom designs on any base of fabric available. However, all custom prints require a 1m minimum order per base. More Info
PUL (Polyurethane Laminate)
Our digitally printed PUL is 100% polyester with a 1.5 mil (0.0381mm) polyurethane laminate layer bonded to the underside making it a water-resistant fabric. It also has a soft feel and prints with incredibly bright and vibrant colours.

Care Instructions: Machine wash – maximum of 60 degrees Celcius. Do not iron, do not tumble dry or dry clean. Dry in shade.
Things I could make: modern cloth nappies (MCN), breast pads, menstrual pads, wet bags, change mat covers, cot sheets, bibs and training pants.
Cotton Lycra
Our beautiful soft, medium-weight Cotton Lycra fabric with a 4-way stretch is 95% Cotton and 5% Lycra. It is a durable stretch base with amazing recovery making it a fantastic option for clothing.

Single-Sided Minky
Our beautiful soft, short pile Minky is 90% Cotton / 10% Spandex. This Minky has a slight stretch to it which can make it a great option for winter clothing.

Laminated Minky
Similar to Single Sided Minky, our laminated Minky has an incredibly soft plush side with 3mm pile. The reverse side is sealed with a laminate making it water resistant.

Double Sided Minky aka Squish
The perfect double sided minky! This base is soft and plush on both sides of fabric. Only printed on one side, the pile is the perfect length of 3mm while still keeping the image crisp and clear.

French Terry
French Terry is a must-have for all winter clothing makes such as jumpers or tracksuits. Not to be confused with Terry Toweling, it’s a mid-weight fabric similar to jersey. It has a loop piling on the reverse side and is soft and smooth on the printed side. French terry also has fantastic moisture absorbing capabilities. Soft, snug and warm, it’s a perfect choice.

Cotton Twill
Cotton twill fabric has a specific type of weaving present, a diagonal pattern. It has a great drape. While quite a light-weight fabric, twill is a great choice for projects such as dressmaking and all types of quilting

Muslin
Muslin is a loosely-woven cotton fabric, it is incredibly soft and while lightweight this fabric has great breathability, making it a great option for some pieces of clothing.

Care Instructions: Hand wash or gentle machine wash in cold water, use a gentle laundry detergent. Hang the item or lay flat to dry.

Linen
Our linen is a blend of linen and viscose, resulting in a softer fabric that is also less prone to wrinkling like 100% linen would. Linen is a great option for a lot of sewing projects, from blazers to skirts, and dresses to home decor. It is also breathable which makes it a great fabric for all seasons.

Canvas
Thick and heavy-duty, our canvas is a great choice for projects that require stronger fabric eg, tote bags, cushion covers. However, it can also be a great choice for some clothing sews as the fabric does soften with regular washing. Cotton Canvas is also commonly known as Cotton Duck.

Sports Active
Sports Active is most commonly used for sportswear. It has a structured weave that provides great support. The base also had a great recovery, so no matter how much stretch, the printed image will remain crisp.

Swim Lycra
Our Swim Lycra has a 4-way stretch with great recovery. It’s also the fabric choice for anyone wanting to make their own swimwear, leotards/dancewear and sportswear. It is rated to 40+ SPF.

Board Short / Peach Skin
Peachskin, or more commonly known as Board Short, is the perfect base for water-resistant sewing projects where the final product is likely to get wet. It has a smooth suede-like texture with a gorgeous drape.

Synthetic Leather (LZW)
Synthetic Leather - leather without any animals involved. Also known as vinyl, its often used by bag makers for their latest creations. Thicker and tougher than your usual fabric base, don't be frightened as you can still sew these on a domestic sewing machine. Our synthetic leather as a subtle textured pattern on the top side which adds an extra depth to each make.

Care Instructions: Spot clean only. Do not machine wash. Interfacing can be used, on the wrong side (not the print side) with a 10 second press from low heat iron, please ensure you use a pressing cloth. If creased, roll the Synthetic Leather print side in around a tube-shaped item and leave for a couple of days.

Bamboo Lycra
Bamboo Lycra is the softest of soft. It has a beautiful drape, silky smooth finish and 4-way stretch. Plus along with its natural bamboo properties, it makes this base cool to wear year-round.

Bamboo Muslin
Soft and gentle, Bamboo Muslin is the base for all things baby. It's soft, lightweight, breathable and durable. Its up to three times softer than cotton muslin and washes well. The weave structure of muslin allows for heat to escape, keeping the body cool, dry and comfortable.

Bullet
While not a well-known base option, bullet is actually used more than you would realise. Its got a unique textured finish, almost little lumps in the fabric. It has great breathability properties, it's quick to dry and semi water resistant AND it's soft, wrinkle resistant and has great recovery. What more could you want?

Rib Knit
Our rib knit has a very distinguishable look to it. With straight ribs on the front running the full lenght of the fabric. While traditionally used to create neck bands, arm bands etc on shirts, our ribbing can be used for all clothing options and more.

Waterproof Canvas
Waterproof canvas is a thick and heavy-duty woven base. It is heavier than our cotton twill. The waterproof canvas has a waterproof coating applied to the printed side.

Poly Toweling
Soft and fluffy, our poly toweling is also absorbent and quick to dry. The print will be on one side with the longer pile on the reverse, white side.

Double brushed poly is a 4 way stretch fabric that has been brushed on both sides to create a soft and fuzzy feel.
