Ever wanted a 4 way stretch base that's soft like butter? Well meet Bamboo Lycra! It's soft, has an amazing drape, and is cool to wear. It's a great option for shirts, dresses, shorts and leggings. 

Peachskin, more commonly known as Board Short, is the perfect base for water-resistant sewing projects like boardshorts, bucket hats and beach bags. It has a smooth suede-like texture with a gorgeous drape.

Bullet is a soft fabric with a texture throughout. It has spandex properties allowing it to have a 4 way stretch, making it a great option for bows, headbands, children's clothing etc.

Thick and heavy-duty, our canvas is a great choice for projects that require stronger fabric eg, tote bags, cushion covers. However, it can also be a great choice for clothing sews as the fabric does soften with regular washing. Cotton Canvas is also commonly known as Cotton Duck.

Our beautiful soft medium-weight Cotton Lycra fabric with a 4-way stretch is 95% Cotton and 5% Lycra. It’s suitable for clothing such as T-shirts, dresses, pants or leggings etc.

Cotton Rib is a textured alternative to our Cotton Lycra. With the same properties making it have a gorgeous 4 way stretch and recovery, this base is perfect for all of your clothing creations like leggings, shirts, headbands etc and its also great for trimmings like leg bands and arm bands on clothing.

Cotton twill fabric has a specific type of weaving present, a diagonal pattern. It has a great drape. While quite a light-weight fabric, twill is a great choice for projects such as dressmaking, baby products such as dribble bibs and all types of quilting

Double brushed poly is a 4 way stretch fabric that has been brushed on both sides to create a soft and fuzzy feel. 

Squish (or Double Sided Minky), is exactly that; a squishy double sided minky. It has a short pile front and back, with the front being the printed side. And the back as the unprinted white base. Squish is the perfect option for blankets when you have no desire to back them with anything and for winter clothing when you want them soft on the inside and out.

French Terry is a must-have for all winter clothing makes such as jumpers or tracksuits. Not to be confused with Terry Towelling, it’s a mid-weight fabric similar to jersey. It has a loop piling on the reverse side and is soft and smooth on the printed side.  French terry also has fantastic moisture absorbing capabilities. Soft, snug and warm, it’s a perfect choice.

Our linen is a blend of linen and viscose, resulting in a softer fabric that is also less prone to wrinkling like 100% linen would. Linen is a great option for a lot of sewing projects, from blazers to skirts, and dresses to home decor. It is also breathable which makes it a great fabric for all seasons.

Muslin is a loosely-woven double-gauze cotton fabric, it is incredibly soft and while lightweight this fabric has great breathability, making it a great option for some pieces of clothing, especially scarves. While a very versatile fabric, some common uses of muslin are; dressmaking, scarves and baby products including swaddles, blankets and breastfeeding covers.

Soft and fluffy, our poly toweling is also absorbent and quick to dry. The print will be on one side with the longer pile on the reverse, white side.

Our PUL is 100% polyester with a 1.5 mil (0.0381mm) polyurethane laminate layer bonded to the underside.  It is regularly used in the cloth nappy making process as well as breast pads, menstrual pads, wet bags, change mat covers, cot sheets, bibs and training pants.  With a soft feel and bright vibrant colours, this waterproof fabric has many uses.

Our beautiful soft, short pile Minky is 90% Cotton / 10% Spandex and is perfect for blankets, topping menstrual pads, breast pads and also in the MCN making process. It is has a stretch to it which makes it a great choice for making winter clothing.

Sports Active is a thick supportive polyester fabric that is perfect for Active Wear. Make crop tops, leggings, bike shorts. While there may be some white show through if choosing a darker print, rest assured that the print itself will not fade nor will the image stay stretched thanks to the amazing recovery this base has. If active wear isnt your thing, try using sports active as a swim alternative. Create your favourite swimmers instead! Our Sports Active is rated to SPF30+

Our Swim Lycra has a 4-way stretch with great recovery. It’s also the fabric choice for anyone wanting to make their own swimwear, leotards/dancewear and sportswear. While our Swim Lycra may not provide the support needed in some swim wear, it is a great option for outer wear like rashies (sun protection while swimming) as it has been rated to SPF 40-50+

Waterproof canvas is a thick and heavy-duty woven base. It is heavier than our cotton twill. The waterproof canvas has a waterproof coating applied to the printed side. Great for bags and outdoor furniture.
