Hey there, my name is Jan and I’m glad you found my page. I’m an Australian Artist from the beautiful Yarra Valley, Victoria, where my front lawn is a revolving party of galahs, rosellas, king parrots, magpies and cockatoos! Since I was a child, pencil and paintbrush have always been tools for expression and in this hurried age I want to use them to join the shift to slow down, and thoughtfully craft picture stories that remind us of the beauty in nature, of the simple joys, and of the things that bring delight to our hearts. I aim to make artwork that is joyful, unique and meaningful. As a sewer, maybe that’s why you’re here too.
